A Novel Approach for Audiography - A Combination of Audio Steganography and Cryptography

Steganography is the art and science of hiding secret data to provide a safe communication between two parties and it is a prominent branch in the information hiding research area. Cryptography is the process of conversion of data into scrambled code that can be deciphered and sent across a public or private network. This paper presents a novel approach for Audiography-Combination of Audio Steganography and Cryptography. It uses most powerful algorithm in the first level of security, which is very complex to break. In the second level it uses a modified LSB algorithm to encode the message into audio. This system ensures greater security. Keywords-Audiography, Audio Steganography, Cryptography, Information Hiding, Modified LSB.
